Dr. Dawn Daniels, Veterinarian & Practice Owner
Dr. Daniels is a Nebraska native. She graduated from University of Nebraska with a BS in Biology. She then attended Iowa State University and graduated in 1997 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
After practicing in Nebraska, in 2001, she moved to the Bay Area to enjoy the Florida sun and the beaches! Dr. Daniels then practiced at several clinics in the area as a Relief Veterinarian. She was also an Associate Veterinarian at both Seminole Boulevard Animal Hospital and Largo Veterinary Hospital.
Largo Veterinary Hospital opened in 1984. Dr. Daniels returned to in 2012 and became the sole practice owner as of 2015.
In 2007 Dr. Daniels served as President for the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association and was a Gold Star Recipient from the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. She is currently a veterinarian for the Pug Rescue Organization of Florida.
Dr. Daniels shares her home with her pet-children, 3 cats: Tux, Lucy and Freddy.
Dr. Daniels prioritizes showing compassion to all patients, educating her clients, and staying current on information in the veterinary field. It is important to her to maintain the highest standards of care and service. Her special interests lie in dermatology, internal medicine, and senior pet care. She practices from the heart, and sincerely cares about the animals she treats and their people.
Crystal, Hospital Manager
Crystal is a native of the Bahamas. In 1988 she came to Florida to attend boarding school. During her summers at home she volunteered at the Bahamas Humane Society, where she discovered her love for animals. This was a love that became her life long passion.
Crystal join Largo Veterinary Hospital team in November of 2003. She uses her 20+ years of experience in the veterinary field to manage the daily operations of Largo Veterinary Hospital.
In her spare time Crystal enjoys spending time relaxing with friends and cuddling with her dachshund mix named Destiny. To this day she continues to support several animal rescues throughout the Bahamas.
Kelly is a native of Tacoma, Washington but was raised in Ruskin, Florida. She graduated from SPC in 1996 with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Kelly joined the Largo Veterinary Hospital team in July 2012. We are thankful to have her up front welcoming clients. Kelly has worn many hats in the veterinary field making her a valued addition to the team.
Kelly enjoys spending time at the beach with her son and daughter. At home Kelly has three four-legged kids; Alli, a Boxer, and her cats Alvin and Captain.
Lauren, Certified Veterinary Technician
Lauren is a Minnesota native. There she earned her BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Shortly after she uncovered her passion for helping animals and returned to school. She earned an AAS in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University and joined our team in 2016.
Lauren shares her home with her husband Jesse and their tabby cat Daisy. In her spare time she enjoys taking in the Florida beaches, biking, drawing, traveling, and spending time with family.
Katerina, Certified Veterinary Technician & Nurse Supervisor
Katerina is a Florida native who has over 18 years of veterinary experience. We welcomed her to the Largo Veterinary Hospital team in 2016.
She shares her home with her young daughter, Zoey. Her fur children include two canines: a Pekingese named Jezebel, and a Chihuahua named Bambi; as well a Bengal cat named Lily and two DSH cats named Cookie & Midnight.
When she’s not working Katerina enjoys staying active, going to theme parks and the zoo.
Shannon is an Indiana native that joined our team in 2016 with over 5 years of veterinary hospital experience. Knowing from an early age that caring for animals would be part of her future, Shannon earned an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from Brown Mackie College. She feels strongly about sharing her love with all animals that enter our doors.
Shannon shares her home with 2 DSH felines, Captain Sully and Dexter Eugene. In her spare time she enjoys lounging at the pool or beach, playing fetch with Dexter, and napping with her kitties.

Michelle, Vet Tech/Kennel Assistant
Michelle is a New York native who relocated to Florida in 2004. She joined our team in 2016 bringing over 30 years of veterinary experience. She remembers being a young girl and feeling a calling to help any type of animal. Since moving to Florida Michelle fosters through the Florida Poodle Rescue.
She shares her home with her husband of 31 years and their fur babies. They have a Chihauhua named Olivia and a feline who recently joined her family. In her spare time Michelle is busy as a dog walker. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown sons, and pets.

Narea, Veterinary Technician
Narea is a Massachusetts native who moved to Florida 2 years ago. She brings over three years of veterinary experience to our team at Largo Veterinary Hospital and she studied Veterinary Science at Auburn University.
As far back as she can remember there were at least four rescue dogs in her childhood home! Seeing her family foster rescue dogs taught her how much an animal is impacted by kindness. This motivated her to want to continue to help animals and pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
She shares her home with her wife Monica; a Boxer named Brady; a Lab mix named Jeffrey; and two DSH cats named Jude & Beanz. In her spare time Narea enjoys drawing, listening to music, and playing various water activities.

Jordan, Veterinary Technician
Jordan is a Georgia native who relocated to Florida in 2017. She brings just over two years of experience in the field but has always had a passion for working with animals.
She attended an Animal Behavior College and has always sought out hands on experience with animals throughout her life.
Jordan shares her home with her boyfriend Brelin and her German Shepherd named Cooper. In her spare time she enjoys taking Cooper to the beach and exploring all that Florida has to offer.
